What's happening in the Siouxland Section.......

GOLD Activity 
6/24/08

The GOLD group is going to be holding a gathering at Old Chicago (4301 W 41st St, Sioux Falls, by the mall) on Tuesday, June 24, from 6:00-8:00 PM. We have the party room reserved, and appetizers will be provided!  This is primarily a social gathering, but we will be talking a little bit about a couple of activities GOLD will be involved in this fall.  Come and have some food and some fun.  Anyone who has graduated in the last 10 years (including grad school) is welcome to come.

Awards Banquet

The First Annual Awards Banquet was held on November 13 at the Ramkota Hotel in Sioux Falls.
The following awards were given out at the event:

Outstanding Member Award presented to Douglas DeBoer for his contributions, achievements and dedication to the IEEE.
Outstanding Member Award presented to Jeff White for his contributions, achievements and dedication to the IEEE.
Outstanding Engineer Award presented to Jeff Van Roekel for his accomplishments in the Engineering profession.
Friend of IEEE Award presented to Missouri River Energy Services for its continuous dedication to the IEEE.
