Not getting enough email already? Then subscribe to the brand new
mailing list for the Siouxland Section. If you send an email to
siouxland@majordomo.ieee.org
with the text subscribe siouxland <email address> in the body of the
message (not in the subject), you will be subscribed after verification of
your member status. Replace <email address> with your email address. The
list is brand new and is basically just being tested now so there should
not be much activity in it until we get our bearings. It may be used in
the future for distribution of section newsletters.
Check out this new email service from IEEE: email
alias service. If your email addresses changes occasionally, this
service can be a real time saver. You select an alias email address that
you would distribute to people and companies that you communicate
electronically with, and register your current email address with the
Alias service, then all email sent to the alias email address is forwarded
to your currently valid real email address. You only need to update your
real email address when it changes in one place.
