(OK, the following is kinda old now but reflects a one time reality.......)
Hi, my name is Steve, I work in the Information Systems subset of the Planning and Operations Department (since renamed, I'd have to look up the current incarnation) at Missouri River Energy Services. My duties include network, system, and database administration, as well as application development (and then some nowadays). I've been here going on 12 years now. (I wish. Man, I'm getting old.)

Anyway, I was cruising the Web one day (must have been about 1995 or 6 or so) and got to the IEEE Region 4 page and noticed that the link to the Siouxland Section went nowhere and knew that I could rectify that situation. I've been an IEEE member for some (many) years now but haven't been that actively involved, primarily because I seem to be a perpetual student (done at last, I think, for now anyway), but I saw an opportunity to get a little more involved, and in an area where my supposed expertise lies anyway ( I did say supposed...). And now, if you visit the Region 4 page, there is a link to something. Mission accomplished, I guess.
